Hi Sue - you will feel at home here. Things will seem brighter now you know that you're not alone.

Do you mind saying why you have decided against HRT?

Hi Sue

I was going to ask the same as Taz.

Don't forget, its important to keep focus on things that define and please us.

For me I had similar weight issues before going with HRT.
I gained weight easily prior to HRT.
Since starting HRT my weight has stabilized and I'm starting to get it back down :)

There is a lot of stories out there to the contrary and people with have tales of gaining weight on HRT however I've seen the opposite.

Glad you've found the forum.

Hi Sue and  :welcomemm:

One thing I've learned on this journey through peri is to expect the unexpected - changes of mind, symptoms, treatment, supplements etc. I no longer have fixed ideas about any of it... I go with what feels right at the time :)

This forum saved my sanity last year... it's so good to know we are not alone.

Hi Sue and welcome!

I only joined recently and have found the support and advice on here so reassuring.  I fully identify with the weepiness and tiredness  - anxiety has been my worst symptom along with some weird and wonderful physical things.

Please keep posting, we're all here to support each other  :)

You may find that you need HRT eventually so try not to dismiss it completely.  It doesn't need to be taken for ever necessarily and if you get relief  ;)

Hi Sue

Welcome to the forum.  :welcomemm:
HRT has been helpful to many of the ladies here so it may be worth reconsidering.
Certainly, local oestrogen cream, HRT can help to make sex less painful / tedious.
