I take it most of you ladies will have seen this on the news.
Karen Buckley, a young woman from Cork, has been missing from Sunday night.
We heard about it before it hit the news because she goes to the same uni as my daughter. The search is taking place just around the corner from my son in Glasgows west end.
This is very close to home. My daughter and obviously ever other student at Caledonian Uni has had an email from the Vice Chancellor offering help and asking for information. It's a small campus and everyone is affected in some way.
As a mum whose daughter regularly goes out in Glasgow this is hitting very close to home and although it's rare, it still makes me shudder.
I am thinking of both her and her parents tonight and hoping for a positive outcome although it's becoming increasingly unlikely as the hours go past.

Scary stuff. Must be truly awful for her parents. Like you HB, I doubt this will have a good outcome. A man has been detained in connection with her disappearance.

Terribly sad, another life denied its potential.
I cannot start to imagine how her family and friends are feeling but they are in my thoughts today :'(

Is it the same lad who was interviewed earlier that is likely to be charged in the morning ?
So sad. Makes me wonder that for those that hit the News, how many more go missing and are found in similar circumstances :'(
