Title: Numbness
Post by: Catherine Hurrell on March 10, 2015, 03:30:10 PM
I have been waking every morning with a really heavy aching and deep tingling feeling in my arms.  I'm am sure I read somewhere that this can be a symptom of menopause. N does anyone else experience this and has anyone any ideas how to combat it?

Hi Catherine,

Yes, I started to get a dead arm and pins and needles at night about 6 months ago, and am pretty sure it's part of perimenopause.

Hop over to the New Members board and introduce yourself - you'll get lots of support and advice over there. :)

Welcome - could be carpal tunnel syndrome which can affect pregnant women so is hormone linked.  Do you need to hang your arms over the bed in the night?

Have a browse round.

Thanks honours mum and clkd . New to this site but not to menopause.  Had to stop HRT at start of year and it has all come back and hit me like a truck again plus other symptoms.
