So I believe. Though to be honest, voting is political, so we probably still don't stand a chance. Australia are in this year, to celebrate 60 years of Eurovision!

Just having the discussion with husband about this CLKD.
I will probably end up watching the results come in via the internet.
What about you?

We won't  win. Politics always gets in the way. As for Australia & America being in it, just makes a mockery of whole thing. Australia were in it last year for the 60 the anniversary. But why this year? Although it would be funny if either country won.

No you're right cubagirl, we won't win. We will be lucky to get in the top half.
I've got no idea why Australia & America are in it - might have to google that later.

;D ;D I just turned over & caught the replays of the entries but now JT has come on we have turned over. I have got it on iPlayer & will go back to it when the results start to come in. Hubby likes Serbia, think it was because of their short skirts rather than the song.

My brother was/is a big fan of the Moody Blues. He saw them quite a few times.

I love the moody blues. I fell in love with them via hearing Forever Autumn with Justin Hayward. Seen them a few times - the first time I was 14/15 and probably the youngest person in audience. It was all middle aged women in sparkly tops and bingo wings. I never thought I'd get that old but I'm there now!

My hubby mocked me years ago as I had one of their albums, To Our Children's Children's Children.

Only heard one song - Australia. She could sing, may even win, now that will be funny!

Come on UK  :peace: Tell you what, Sam Ryder has got some voice on him. Yep, Ken is in Turin - I like him - Terry Wogan was absolutely brilliant as host. Irony and comic timing was priceless  ;)

Did I dream that Richie is also in Turin ......... the guy who reads the travel for Radio 2?

No you didn't dream that CLKD. He is, indeed, in Turin (as is Rylan and Scott Mills). Crikey, do they need 4 there (including Ken?)  :o
Ukraine has got to be favourite to win -

Is this the competition where countries enter a song that's sung by a famous singer from that country and the best wins?  I remember one singer from Canada performed a song years ago in similar competition but obviously it wasn't Eurovison, it must have been a different one.

Morning C.C. - not always a famous singer.  As the years have gone by, the costumes and 'acts' have become more and more surreal!

Well done Sam Ryder. He did so well. What a voice  :)
Now, as for the Norwegian entry  ???.. .
"Feed that wolf a banana" - now that was surreal  ;D
