Is it possible to have hot flushes during a period?
My sister, two years my junior, called me a coupke days back to say she just had her first hot flash - woke her right out of bed - and she was on her period. Fyi, she is 51. Had regular cycles, but now meno must be right upon her.

Thanks for reply. I am 52 and have had some hot flushes before, periods had gone to 10 weeks between times but went back to being regular. I don't think my body can make up it's mind!

I certainly started getting flushes before my periods stopped but don't remember whether i had them during a period or not. Mine have been pretty mild compared to descriptions which I have read from other people.

hi, I don't get many hot flushes but those I do get tend to be around the start of a period.

I get hot flushes at random times, but immediately before and during the first couple of days of my period tend to be the most frequent.

It is absolutely possible, I get hot flushes both just before and during my period. :)

When dealing with peri, I think it might be quicker to list what is IMPOSSIBLE... ;D

You can get hot flashes during your period even before menopause! I got them sometimes when I had PMS :(
