Hi I am a new member and was hoping for some advice. I am now on my 2nd month on Prempacc 1.25mg day 5, as yet I have not had a period and wondered if this is normal. I have not had a period since November14 and just to be safe I took a pregnancy test at the weekend and thankfully it was negative, but at 51 that would probably been a miracle anyway haha!
In general I am feeling a lot better especially clearer in my mind and no more sinking desperate attacks that seemed to hit me out of the blue.
I have worked my way through several side effects (a different one each day) but all seems to be calming down as I go into my second month.
Finding this site was a Godsend as reading the posts makes you realise you aren't the only one going through these changes and it's very comforting.

Hi Jenster, I was starting to feel like I just couldn't cope, hot flushes, plus terrible aches and pains when waking. I never associated the aches and pains with a hormone imbalance but found several articles on the internet that linked the aches and pains to lack of oestrogen. I would prefer not to have to take HRT but my second month marks a big improvement and I'm hoping the improvements will continue. I hope you find something to help you cope, us ladies need to stick together and stay strong. My husband always use to say he was coming back in his next life as a woman cause we have it easy, haha even he has changed his mind on this as he has seen me suffer for the last 18 months before I finally visited GP and he prescribed Prempacc

thank you for getting back to me - yes I have aches and pains and also lots of health anxiety now and lots of weakness and tiredness and on and on - feel foggy and tingly - I just want to find something to help - its scary and driving me nuts not to feel like myself!

Hi jenster and welcome to MM
Have you started your own thread yet so more ladies can support you?
Do tell us more about yourself? Are you on HRT? If so which one? If not, are you getting trouble from your GP about this or are you simply not getting the right advice and help? Perhaps you have health issues that prevent you using HRT?
Do read up all the info on this site to get clued up and get back to us with questions.

Hi Liverpool Lass
I responded on your other thread so hopefully you'll get this. HRT can really work wonders - so enjoy.
