Title: banking mobile app concern
Post by: clio on February 16, 2015, 08:57:23 AM
Just wondered if anyone uses the Barclay mobile app! Has the sign in page changed and do you have to create a memorable word, its changed on my phone which worry me as not good with tech stuff and I'm paranoid. Going to my local branch later to ask but thought I would ask on here first.

Nope.  We do all our banking in the Bank!

Ask at the local Branch.
Mobile apps are not well renowned for their security.

I never use my mobile for banking because of security. Our bank does it, but I refuse to use it.

An update

I went to the bank and asked, I rambled on about someone hacking my phone and app and couldnt breath untill they told me it was ok and the cashier showed me her phone and told me how to update mine.  It was for extra security and like me I got my knickers in a twist as usual, im so paranoid, negative and worry all the time. Thanks for your posts.

Need to start a new thread about this paranoier
