PINK :bang: and more importantly, it's the same colour as one of the Breast Cancer Charities so hopefully they will ask for it to be withdrawn from use as an election vehicle! How much has that cost the Public ? and is sexist :kick:
-
I honestly don't think its worth getting het up about it CLKD in the grand scheme of things :)
-
Me neither. The fact that it's pink has nothing to do with it IMO.
-
What BUS??
Taz x :D
-
Oh do keep up ;D
Labour …….. women going out and about electioneering …….. in PINK >:(
It is the same colour as the Charity though :-\ surely Trademarked?
-
Was it on the telly? Not had the telly on yet. Been too busy nattering on the phone, filling bird seeds, emptying washing basket, filling washing machine and eating chocolate since I got in from work....
Will have to go and have a look now!

On the ITV News ;) ……..
-
Actually its not quite the same pink :) its more a Fuchsia pink.
-
Sexist ::)
-
The belief that a person of one sex is intrinsically superior to a person of the other ::)
Never
On the other hand
When God finished the creation of Adam he stepped back, scratched his head and said, "I can do better than that." ;D
-
;D...SL.....of course he did.
What a fuss about nothing.....when did anyone have the right to claim a colour of their own.
They can end up looking like a Telly Tubby for all I care....they are politicians.....therefore they are untrustworthy......pink....who cares.

However, as hubby says, it's got everyone talking, which was the whole point of the exercise.
-
Don't think we need anything to get us talking on MM cubagirl, we do an awful lot of it anyway, even daft things ;D
-
;D ;D ;D
-
::) ………..
-
So far: no taps on the door, canvassing, nothing pushed through the letter box begin for our Vote …….. :-\ will anyone be watching the Big Debate :D …….. :-X
-
Can't see how a debate between 7 parties is going to be useful. Reckon it'll turn into the normal argy bargy of the Commons.
-
Kids in the School Yard then ;D - permission to throw tomatoes at the TV Screen?
-
As long as it's your own TV CLKD ;D
Nothing up here either. Think they are presuming we will all vote the same way in Scotland ::)

That's with a tick in the box then ;)

Anyone watch last night :-X
They can't answer questions with a straight yes/no ……..
-
I didn't watch it, life is too short.
We had UKIP around about a week ago. I roared with laughter and said 'you must be joking'. The chap put his leaflet away and said 'fair enough' and walked away.
I have decided to use the same technique with all the parties. It worked SO well.
-
 ……. I didn't watch but saw snippets on the News.

They can't answer questions with a straight yes/no
..
I came across a brilliant quote in a Just William book once. Talking about William, it said something like "he disliked answering questions, he disliked being tied down to facts...as a politician, a great future lay before him". So nothing much has changed in politics since then!
Re: the bus, I find it really offensive because the implication is that women are too dim to take an interest in anything unless it's made to look 'pretty'. I have the same feeling about pink (and impractical) gardening tools...oh, it doesn't matter that they are flimsy and not up to the job, they are pink so women will love them. GRRRRR!
I am thinking I will vote for the first person who will tell me what they will do rather than what the opposition won't do. Last election, I nearly went mad, trying to get the various candidates to talk about their manifesto. Conversations with any party went something like this:
"don't vote for the others, they will ruin the NHS with budget cuts".
"Yes, but what will YOU do if you are elected?"
"If you vote for X, Y or Z, poverty and unemployment will increase..."
"Never mind that; what will YOU do"
"Do you realise that if X win the election..." etc, etc, etc. Zzzzzzzzzzzz!
-
I am going to ask anyone who calls here which is unlikely - if you stop HS2 going through and ruining our countryside then I all Vote for your Party - at the next Election ;)
