Hi ladies....I took my first hrt tablet yesterday and felt ridiculously spaced out in the morning , just going about in a dream...was a bit frightening.....I did feel better as the day went on......kind of soft and floaty but unable to think straight....but today I am feeling weirded out...I haven't had second tablet yet as thought night time taking it might be bertter...will this get better or is it that I'm sensitive to meds....feel like crying.....any advice would be appreciated as feeling a bit panicky....thank you xxx

Hi DG...thanks for the reply....I am peri and taking elleste duet....I felt OK by about 12 yesterday..very tired though and just weird today....hormones....dunno if elleste is too potent with my already fluctuating hormones x

You've been given a low dose HRT but if you are peri menopausal than it can take some time for your body to adjust plus your own hormones will be fluctuating so will also influence things. Oestrogen doesn't usually give too many problems. I do think the initial surge in the first few hours after taking it can be an issue. Perhaps try taking it at night after the evening meal to see if that helps. It's way too early to tell- so persevere and I expect things will settle. Good luck DG x

I'm on Femoston but take it before bed. Give it a try and see. Things will settle x
