Title: Elleste duet - very sore and lumpy left breast
Post by: Mandy-Joe on February 07, 2015, 09:01:36 AM
Hi all
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?
I'm on day 25 of my first pack of elleste duet 1mg, and my flushes and night sweats have virtually disappeared, but now I'm going mad with breast pain in the outer side of my left breast that goes into my arm and round to my shoulder blade. I'm paranoid about breast cancer as both my Mum and Grandma had it, and my breast does feel lumpy in that area.  It started right from day 1 and has continued to get worse.
I know you're supposed to give HRT a while for the side effects to subside so should I plod on for a while longer or go back to my gp?  I've not had a period yet and keep getting a bit of tummy ache as if one might be due.
Mandy x

:welcomemm:  any breast alterations should be reported.  Even if your breasts were OK it is probably due to the HRT but reassurance is important  ;)

How are the symptoms for which you are taking the Elleste?

However, breast disease is triggered by different responses - mine is oestrogen dominant - so knowing exactly what caused your Mum/Gran's disease is important!
