Been feeling lightheaded this last week and so hot my cycle was every 2 weeks but this one seams longer felt crap now for 2/half weeks still no bleeding 😡
-
I felt like this on and off for months. Have just started HRT and this feeling had eased off a lot.

The lightheadedness is awful isn't it. I find it is worse under certain lights. irs really weird how our hormones can cause this. Does anyone know why this happens ??
-
I'd live to know why too. My guess is that it's linked to estrogen deficiency as mine has improved massively since taking HRT (still get the odd bounts though, and still scares the life out of me!) xx

Supermarket lights are the worse for me. They really do make me lightheaded and on occasions make my ears feel funny....like a pressure behind them.
My son has a theory over why more sensitive people feel like this.
As a student he had a job in a large chain supermarket. When he had his induction he was told its not unusual to feel a bit off for the first few days.
The reason being is they pump strange stuff into the air....when have you even seen a fly in a large supermarket. You never do....it's because of what's in the air.
May well contribute to feeling funny when you shop.

You wouldn't want to see a fly in a supermarket. That's very interesting HB. I never had any ill effects when I worked in a supermarket.
Our local one had a bird in theirs for months, gone at last. Obviously whatever they pump into the air doesn't have any effect on our feathered friends.

He was never told what it was exactly. All they were told was that if they were to have vaguely sick feelings and light headedness they were to go outside for a few minutes. They were also told it would pass in a couple of days. My son was fine but he knew quite a lot of people who had the strange symptoms.

Could it be Sick Building Syndrome? I've never heard of them pumping anything into the air in supermarkets to be honest. My son works in a big store with no ill effects. The only thing I know they do pump around, in some stores, is the smell of coffee or freshly baked bread. http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/sick-building-syndrome/Pages/Introduction.aspx

Not sure Taz but he worked in three different stores and was told the same thing each time. It was for the same company though.

Lightheaded/ vertigo has always been the worse symptom for me. It has got worse over the last few months, I am looking at reviewing my HRT.
I can remember my Nan telling me she suffered giddiness during the 'change' that was 15 years ago before she died. No one ever really talks about it.
Thank goodness for this sight ;)
