Thrush? Vaginal atrophy?

Oh dear!
I don't know what you can use for immediate relief apart from some fairly inert soothing cream (hopefully someone else can advise...) but if it's not an infection then it sounds like vaginal atrophy and you need to get some local oestrogen as soon as possible if you are not using some already.

As the girls say, it probably needs local oestrogen for vaginal atrophy, if it's not thrush, but you could also try plain live yoghurt or 'Yes' water based vaginal moisturiser in an attempt to help now. You can use the moisturiser underneath as well and it is really soothing. Free samples are available from the 'Yes' website. There are other brands, but that one did not irritate me I found.
Hope that helps you!

Canneston cream can be very soothing even if it's not thrush.
Have you been checked out either by your practice nurse or your GP.

I agree it should be checked by a medic. Have you tried E45 Itch Relief cream from the chemist (about £4). Try keeping it in the fridge. It doesn't say you shouldn't put it on your bits - I have done and it's very soothing.

I had an itchy patch, in one particular spot, for the last 4 years I was on the pill
I tried thrush tablets and creams and it never went away. I ended up using body shop hemp hand lotion on it one night and it felt really good :) I had started to get a dryness, where the oily secretions had gone and it was like ordinary skin.
Since then, I have come off the pill and had local oestrogen and it only comes back if I need more.
I also get thrush symptoms a lot. It is not quite the same and I am finding multigyn actigel helpful with this.
