Hello everybody...
I'm 50something - childless and happily married.. holding down a stressful job and, yep, experiencing all the joys of menopause... :-X
I'm finding I'm having good days and bad, for some reason I find Mondays especially daunting..there's this disconnect which I find hard to explain, it's like I'm operating behind a veil and I find it really hard to relate to people I work with. My concentration is shot to bits as well and this sometimes makes me feel really tired and useless :'(
Anyway, I'm glad I happened to find this website, it has helped just looking at what others have posted.

Ooh, are there some 'joys' involved? Can't say I've found any yet!!! :D
Welcome. I've not been here long but found it really helpful too. I'm 39 and trying to adjust to something I thought wouldn't happen for another 10 years!!!

hi Dorothy, pleased to meet you :) Well, I guess 'joy' is probably not the best way to describe the menopause, point well made !
At the ripe old age of 50+ I can only begin to understand what you're going through at 39 and my heart is with you...anything I can do to help you understand and get through this, I'm here..

Ah, well, as long as I'm not missing anything!
Not surprising you are finding Mondays tough...think how many people dread Mondays who don't even have the dreaded menopause to deal with!
Is there any way you can 'rearrange' your working week to make Mondays a bit easier so you can maybe ease your way into the week a bit more?

Hi welcome
I hate Monday's too, and the rest of the week when I think about it! It is hard some days trying to get by and a lot of us on here find it hard to cope, keep posting and you will soon feel at home. Everyone is lovely on here.
