Hi would like to know if symptoms change can new one come and add to all the ones I already have and do some go ?? ???
-
Absolutely - and it can cause numerous problems if your doctor doesn't recognise this! I have seen a GI consultant, ankle surgeon, cardiologist, spinal consultant, neurologist (twice) and a rheumatologist (amongst others) simply because no one would join up the dots and suggest hormones. I ended up feeling like a crazy hypochondriac and became frightened to see my doctor 'again' for fear of being sectioned! Luckily a change of GP , a switched on neurologist and HRT have helped matters a lot since then! x PS .... and despite all this, I have yet to have a hot flush!

Hi Amandajane,
Oh yes, they change randomly for me. Tinitus comes and goes. Palpitations completely unpredictable. Burning tongue syndrome hasn't been around for a while (touch wood) but joint aches and muscle tension seems to love hoping round my body. I do my best not to worry and just let it wash over me.
I hope this helps :)

I didn't realise tinnitus was a meno symptom until I visited this site. Mine comes and goes along with aches and pains. Also I had a period of about 4 weeks last year when I would get hot flushes about 15 times a day and all through the night. These have practically stopped during the day and now only get them in the morning. I am hoping the anxiety and low mood will also go away for a little while, just to give me a break and allow me to feel myself again.

Hi Amandajane, yes definitely! I have stages of headaches, then rashes, nausea, dizziness, anxiety, sometimes together sometimes separate. Every time one comes back i think oh yes I've had this before, forgot about this one!

Yep - it's like every symptom in the World creeps up at a 'certain' age :( ::) ……… as hormone levels dip and rise.

And some of it is just due to getting older......if it's not then my hubby has been going through the menopause too ;D
