I stopped taking HRT last friday, as having some investigations (swabs and scan) for pain and a previous bleed.
Was told to stop until results back with the view to poss restart with a different type. (As I'm 48)
I was expecting to have a huge bleed, but nothing as yet.
Will it come I'm wondering.....
Or do I need to buy a test you do a wee on.... ::)
Anyone else had this?
I'd appreciate any help, many thanks,
xxx

At which point did you stop your HRT (which day of the 28)?
If it was before the change to the est+prog part started then thats the problem.

How long ago did you have your bleed salhug? It could be that the lining hasn't built up enough to cause a bleed? Also, it can take four or five days after stopping progesterone for a bleed to start so there is still time.

Hi, it was weds 10th, was quite heavy, but stopped by sat 13th.
I had the last HRT tablet on the 17th day Ellest Duet 1mg.
Thank you for replying x :-*

Hi
you were on day 17 of your hrt (1 day into prog part).
You stopped on Friday 20th, roughly 7 days after your last bleed stopped.
Also Taz is correct and you've not had time to build up lining again.

Hi again - reading back through your previous posts I'm a bit confused - doesn't take much! ::)
Are you on the elleste duet which gives a monthly bleed or the continuous one which doesn't - i.e. do you take two different types of tablets?

Continuos.
Which is why there's concerns about the bleed.x
