Hi - I have just managed to get Utrogestan (today) and my it states take 200mg oral from day 15. my question is, can I use it vaginally as I always feel nausea with tabs????
Also, I have been referred to Gyno clinic as I have a 6cm simple ovarian cyst..... will I need surgery?? this is all adding to my anxiety :(

Yes you can use it vaginally and depends on what sort of cyst it is, you may find the progesterone in the Utro shrinks it, thats what happened with mine. They can see from the scan if its a simple cyst or more complex, am sure that all will be well....what did your Dr say?

Hi Cassie
Thanks for your reply.
How big was your cyst? and how long before it got smaller?
Thanks W

Ooh cannot remember tbh, think around 4cm, I go annually for a scan and it was only after the 2nd scan so 2 yrs, on Utro...they dont seem to stress if it gets smaller or stays the same, just musnt get any bigger, I would use the Utro vaginally see how it goes and hear what your gynae thinks but they usually opt for watchful waiting if it appears simple on the scan....
