I don't have hot flushes as such anymore but waken up quite a lot just generally warm and sticky.
I like my bedroom cold so I do wear pyjamas. M&S three quarter bottoms and short sleeve top. They are light T shirt material but don't seem to absorb anything. I get up in the morning and they feel clammy and I need to change them every day.
What do others wear that is a bit more absorbent. Fed up having cold clammy jammies.
Any ideas.

I don't wear anything except a loose sleep bra, can't bear to feel anything restricting, my bedroom is cool with the window open but never feel cold.
-
Nothing. The heating is off in the bedroom though and I always have to have the window open. I can't bear to wear anything in bed. Nothing worse than clammy jammies Honeybun!

I wear jim jams in bed. Don't waken clammy thankfully. How would a fine lawn type cotton do? They're not very glam mind you. Website called cottonlawn does some, quite expensive though. My mum couldn't wear anything but cotton lawn in bed. She made hers though as even back then it was quite expensive to buy.

Nowt ……….. unless we are staying in a family B&B

oh how I envy your open windows. Hubby is a cold mortal and if it was up to him we would have a 15 tog duvet on the bed! He moans if I mention going into the spare room. Seeing as he falls asleep before he's even turned the light off I can't see what difference it would make if I slept in the spare room but he moans ::)
I wear cotton PJ bottoms and a vest or T shirt on top. I couldn't sleep in the nude, no way!!

My hubby is so hot in bed. No not that kind of hot, but made GP laugh. ;D Only if I'm feeling really cold could I stay in same bed. So most of the time I am in spare bed. We keep each other awake too much these days.

My bed is my sanctuary I don't share it with anyone, my bedroom too :) OH and I have different time clocks. We chat for a while in my bedroom each night before he goes off to his bedroom and his football.
As Elsa says "the cold never bothered me anyway! :D

Used to sleep naked but when I had kids that stopped for both of us. Kids never stayed in their own beds. I just don't like it any more.
I just want to feel dry and not clammy. I can stay hot for what seems like hours and then my jammies feel cold. Hubby is blissfully unaware as he does a good log impression.
I have a cotton nightie,it's not very absorbent either.

I couldn't wear PJs, I get too hot around the legs - I've always liked nighties or night shirts preferably in jersey so they have a bit of give. I always have to buy a big size as well as they tend to be so skimpy.
As a young child I remember being given a new nightdress on Christmas eve and it was lovely to wear something new - I know this was done so we looked nice when pictures were taken the next morning opening presents .
I really think nightwear is boring these days - where have all the pretty night dresses gone - I used to like going to bed feeling slightly glamorous. The choice now seems to be: 'onesies', PJs, T shirt type nighties or granny style nighties with peter pan collars - all in dreadful fabric patterns.
Maybe someone could design some lovely menopause nightwear - soft floaty nightdresses with flattering necklines in soft absorbent fabrics that are in beautiful colours.

Spring summer nothing. Autumn winter one of hubbies old shirts, nothing on bottom half as I like my butt to stick out to keep call, with my nether region issues.
-
I have needed pure cotton nightwear for ages.... the current ones are M&S and Debenhams, but 100% cotton.
-
Not a stitch...
I get all uncomfy with pj bottoms wrapped round my legs and I can't cool off properly. Similarly, I get just as uncomfy with nighties riding up so birthday suit it is :o
If I'm cold, I cuddle DH as he is always a nice temperature and if I get too hot, I can stick a naked butt and legs out to cool off. ;D

Nothing here too! Windows open, fan on, duvet cover only and thin cotton blanket on top - far too hot otherwise. We're going away in the caravan for a long weekend this weekend and temps due to drop to 1 degree - might take a t-shirt to wear ;)
