Title: anyone had endometriosis and.on.hrt

I had a hyst three years ago one.ovary left as surgeon was confident all endo.gone and i was only 39.  Ive been ok painwise till now.  My e levels have been all over recently so hes.suggestes raking ovary put but im also getting pain and am worried.  He has suggested i may need to.have combined hrt rather than e.only but said there are few progresterone choices available.  Has anyone else had endo and if so what hrt do you use?

Hi I can't help much as I had endrometrosis before I had the menopause which I started at 25. All I no from my past experience is to keep trying until you feel Okish with one. Xx

Hi lancashirelass,

My sister has endometriosis and had a hysterectomy and ovaries out. Her consultant told her she needed a combined hrt due to the endo'. She's on oestrogen patches and progestogen tablets and gets on really well with this.

I can't remember the exact details - meno brain  ;D
