hi ladies sorry too keep going on, i dont get how a dip test at gps shows positive for infection, yet lab shows neg, my question is how do i feel so under the weather with this (if i dont have a full blown infection) its like i have a constant period, is there anything the urology can do once i get too see them . thanks in advance.x

The dip test shows up white blood cells, blood, nitrates and leukocytes amongst other things. If these are present it can mean infection but it can also indicate damage or inflammation of the bladder or urethra from other causes.

Have you been referred for urodynamics testing? This will give a good indication of how the bladder is working and what the problem might be.

What could it be other than an investigation to find out if you need further treatment?
