Hi
I have noticed that for the last couple of weeks, the temperature of my flushes has got hotter and my sweating more profuse.
Does this mean that I have entered a new phase of the perimenopause process?
I can't tell if I am getting near post meno, as I have been on femoston 2/10 for the last 9 months.
Thanks

The only way you would really know is to stop your HRT and then wait and see if you bleed again.
As you are under 50 I would doubt if you are post meno.
Your oestrogen has maybe dropped at bit and that would account for your extra flushes.
Maybe shouldn't bring this up but you did mention your drinking. Alcohol really does not help especially if you are over indulging.

Hi honeyb
It's to bring the alc thing up :)
I don't drink every day, as I know it messes with flushes.
I can see what you mean about the only way of knowing is to stop my hrt.
I feel like the hormone/lack of hormone induced psychological negative feelings are so intense at the moment, though, I fear if I stopped hrt altogether, I might do or say something I regret.
This means I am too scared to stop, otherwise I would consider it.
Thanks for your speedy reply it has helped.

Are your flushes worse when you have been drinking.
Sometimes it's worth keeping a diary and keeping a note of what you have been eating or drinking and see if a pattern emerges.
Alcohol can really mess with HRT and meno so it's worthwhile trying to have a healthy lifestyle.
Boring but worth it.

Hi Honeyb
I never notice specifically that the flushes got hotter when I drank, alc is not a regular thing for me, they just seemed to have been hotter full stop since about 10-14 days ago.
