Dear ladies, ive previously posted re stopping hrt because of progesterone side effects, so I won't bore you with that, but can I ask about the oestrogen creams- are they for atrophy or can they be used to help prevent it or slow it down? I did notice in improvement sexually whilst on hrt and that would be good to maintain, can anyone use them and what are the risk factors please? 😃

Yes, local oestrogen cream or pessaries are great for the horrible dryness and atrophy - you don't need to use progesterone with them.
