Ahhh.   Pity we're not going to see any baby pandas at Edinburgh zoo.

Shame about the pandas, gather it's cost £600000 to rent them. That and cost of food etc.

I think they should just give up to be honest.

It costs far too much. The entrance fee into Edinburgh zoo does not even cover the cost of seeing a panda. You have to pay extra which is too much for some families.

My daughter refused to pay the extra for the pandas. Makes it very expensive trip to a zoo for a family.

My niece did exactly the same. Lots of families find paying to get into the zoo expensive enough without any extras.

Many places now charge a 'full' rate to enter, unless 1 asks for this and that to be removed until 1 gets to the gate price it can be very expensive.  Trouble is by the time the this and that have been explained there's usually a queue - me, I turn to those in the queue and say 'listen up guys, so that the girl/lad doesn't have to repeat themselves or they will be sick of saying the same thing by t-time'  ;).  Whipsande has a huge gate price because it includes the cheetahs etc., once all that is taken off it is quite reasonable.  However, 'they' now charge for parking which was free until 2 years ago  >:(
