Hi
I'd really welcome some advice please!
I've recently started elleste and other than a reduction in the hot flushes I'm still struggling.
I'm getting increasingly bad joint pain , still ready to cry at the slightest thing
And to add insult to injury have put on 8lbs in the 5 weeks I've been in the tablets despite having remained at the same weight for years
How long did it take others to get benefits of HRT and has anyone else had the issue with weight?
Thanks
Ellie

Hi Ellie
I started on Elleste nearly 4 months ago. The first month was good, the second ok, but I had really bad joint aches the third month and am now waiting for an appointment at the gps. I want to try something with a different progestogen.
Keep a note of your symptoms, then go back to the gp if it is not suiting you.

Ladies - as so many of us on here suggest, Femoston has the kinder progesterone and is tolerated well by many so that's a good one to try. There are lots of options and many like the transdermal HRTs - I'm afraid it is trial and error until you find the right HRT for you. Good luck. DG x
