Title: Heart rate during flush
Post by: Shazzie on August 22, 2014, 12:44:49 PM
Hi everyone

I have been on half a patch of Evorel 50 since May and have been doing well until this morning when I had a hot flush so thinking of upping to 3/4 of a patch.

My pulse went up to 90 during the flush.  I know we all suffer from palps from time to time but wonder how many of is suffer the racing hear at these horrible times.

Take care and thanks for any replies, as always.

Yep the increase in heart rate is normal during a hot flush/sweat. Mine start with a horrible feeling of doom followed by a slightly sick/ upset bowel feeling and then the heart rate rises to around 120 with me. The sweat follows and then I eventually go back to normal. The whole thing takes around five minutes and then, fifteen minutes later, it starts again. Am fed up with them but hope GP will restart me on HRT fairly soon. I've tried for a year without HRT but it's just not working!

That is exactly it Taz.

I took my blood pressure when it ws happening and it was normal for me at 130/75.  I was reallu surprised as I was expecting it to be through the roof.

Thanks for replying Taz.
