Post by: Debs1 on August 06, 2014, 10:54:56 AM
Does anyone else suffer from a sore stomach....no cramps just general stomach ache...mine started about 4 weeks ago, starting at dinner time and lasting till 8pm ish...at first I blamed cereal but it's happening most days, although recently it doesn't last as long...some days I have bad wind but nothing on the excessive side...iam peri menopausal and was just wondering if anyone else experienced this...

Could well be a food intolerance, like gluten. Son's girlfriend had similar. She has to be careful with gluten.

No bloating, some relief by burping...also notice it more when I'm just sitting,if I'm out walking the dog it seems to go...

Thanks for all the replies,no it's not trapped wind...I'm more worried about the length of time it's been happening than the actual ache itself,I am at the docs tomorrow so it will be getting mentioned along with everything else....bit scared/embarrassed as I'm seeing a male doctor as can't get in with lady doctor who deals with all things menopause...
