Title: red and sore
Post by: nigela on August 04, 2014, 08:26:32 PM
Hi I have suddenly become very red and sore down below-it looks like a stripe either side of vagina. It itches and stings. Tried canesten with no help at all, GP did say it was atrophic a while ago when I had last smear but It wasn't bothering me then. Had last period about 3 years ago.
Any recommendations on what to use please? I don't take HRT as family history of DVT.
Thanks
Nigela

Sounds awful...what about Greek yoghurt, that might calm the redness. X

LIVE Greek yoghurt is cool and soothing.   Or you could try Sudacrem, Savlon, Aloe Vera …….. or see your Practice Nurse.
