Today I witnessed a beauty.
Hubby and I were walking through our local town. We have a little supermarket in the town centre.
Ahead of us was a woman of a certain age.
In one hand she had her supermarket carrier bag and over the other arm she had an empty supermarket basket.
I asked hubby if perhaps she was pinching it or hadn't noticed she was still carrying it. He thought it was pretty difficult to miss.
Suddenly she stopped and looked at the arm that was carrying the basket as if it belonged to someone else.
She looked again in total disbelief and turned around to face us.
I couldn't help but laugh....A LOT.
She was so embarrassed and told me she despaired of herself. She was then going to have to sneak back in and return the basket.
Classic meno moment ;D

;D Did you point her in this direction ………… it's that woman again ::)

Ooops how embarrassing! :)

;D I went out to the garden today with the watering can to water the tubs and realised when I got there that I didn't have any water in it.

Honeybun - this is so funny but it's something that I might do! Husband also does daft things like turning up at the golf club to play his usual Sunday round wearing his slippers. How we all laughed...
Easy thing to do littleminnie ;D

Honeybun,
I have moments like this :D. I am in a support group for fibromyalgia sufferers, and they always refer to it as "Fibro-fog" I keep telling them we cannot claim this foggyness as their own and it happens with all kinds of conditions, lol. 8) ;D

hi that made me really chuckle, much needed...is good when there's recognition from one to another too, probably the fact you laughed and didn't look embarrassed lightened her meno moment ;D

Hi Honeybun, not wasn't me but I can see it happening,
yes am Scottish, from Cromarty Firth area, but have lived in the south for 25 years..
where are you from?
I miss men with Scottish accents sigh...

-
South West Coast.. About 40 miles from Glasgow, by the sea.
Are you sure it's the accents you miss and not the sporrans ;D. I married a Londoner who doesn't have a sporran. He does have hairy knees though.

Love Scotland me and hubby always spend our holidays up there . Always wanted to move there but families hold me back . Kilts are great too 😜 . X

DH's Uncle was in the Scot's Guards. They used their kilts as blankets at night. Much of what he remembers is of trudging for miles in the rain with very chapped legs as the water ran off the material but dripped and chaffed :-\
