Title: Period Spotting

After 11 months I had a light period, it was expected as I had all the signs and the night sweats had abated.

Then I had more days of stretchy cervical mucus a couple of weeks ago so knew that I would probably have another period again, but so far all I have is a tiny tiny amount of dark yellow maybe very light brown staining.It is like it wants to start but can't. Has anyone else had yellow/brown spotting for days before they bleed?

I wonder if anyone who has had their last period can remember if it was like this- more yellow/light brown spotting rather than red bleeding?

Hi. I've been getting something similar with HRT patches (after several period-free years)  :( It seems to me that the hormones are still having an effect but not enough to produce a proper period. It all seems to be drying up now, but I've said that in the past. Once again I there's a drawer sanitary products in my bedroom, just in case.
