Title: The Royal Kitchen(s)
Post by: Joyce on July 05, 2014, 01:01:07 PM
Having seen photos of kitchen which was ripped out, finding it hard to believe that we are funding Kate & William's lavish choice of kitchen(s).  OK so Kate doesn't do Aga, but surely that could have been replaced with something she liked.  3 kitchens. Really?

Doubt whether we ARE funding their kitchen  ;) however much the Press would like us to believe it ……. we had a new kitchen over 20 years ago and 5 decided to have new doors - our local carpenter, born and raised in the village, built doors and a new cupboard, delivered and fitted all for under £2,000  ;)

I think hers will be a lot more than £2000.

They do say the " The Rich are different" think Scott Fitzgerald said that.

If I were rich I would have the best Egyptian cotton sheets daily on my bed :) as for Kate's Kitchens, I think the Press are stirring as usual.

Oh most likely silverlady. But guess there must be a bit of truth to it nevertheless.  Here was me thinking my kitchen was posh!  ;D Cost us am arm & a leg about 15 years ago.

Not got one of those. My luxury item was my dishwasher. Actually it was hubby's request, not mine.  ;D

I have had a dishwasher for nearly 30 years....Not the same one  ;D....I hate washing up with a passion. Had one in our first flat and one ever since.

As long as the tax payer is not footing the bill then whatever she wants is fine with me.

It's really how the other half live. ::)

Austerity doesn't apply to the royals. They don't live in the real world.
