I am permanently hot in the groin area recently. I seem to be running on hot most of the time anyway but this is ridiculous. I have been using Vagisil talc at the tops of my thighs to combat soreness. The heat is concentrated at the tops of my thighs and spreads throughout the vaginal area. Has anyone else had this? I'm 52 had an edometrial ablation 5 years ago so no periods since. I'm not on any medication.

Hi
Sounds as though you need some local oestrogen. It's probably vaginal atrophy - it often effects whole area and the bladder as well. I wouldn't use talc, even stuff that is supposed to be for intimate areas. If the top of your thighs are sore then an unscented moisturiser like E45 would be best. Vaginal lubricants can also give relief for the vagina. Needless to say you need to avoid tight clothing etc.
