Hi, I'm 43 and in surgical menopause. I am unable to tolerate Progesterone as it gives me terrible pmt symptoms which is the reason for me having my Bso.
I have been told by my gp that I need to take hrt containing progesterone until I'm 50 but it's making mine and everyone else's life miserable.
Can anyone help/advise please?
Thanks
Lisa

Did you get back in touch with your consultant lisa? You mentioned that you were going to in your other thread about your oopherectomy. As you kept your womb this means you still need progesterone. The only way to combat this is to have a hysterectomy which I know is a daunting prospect. You really do need to have a word with your consultant to find out the reasons for it not being removed.
