I've been on Elleste Duet 1mg for 4 months now and it's taken me 3 months for my night sweats to disappear, the daytime ones went after about a month. But now I find that after just 3 weeks with no sweats they've come back and I've spent the last 2 nights awake a lot which is really annoying. This morning I even seem to be having them during the day...it's as if the hrt has just stopped working.
Has anyone else had this? I'm going on holiday in 2 weeks and concerned that if I up my dose to 2mg before then I might have some side effects. But it would be great to not have sweats on holiday.
I'd love to hear of experiences of Elleste Duet 2mg. good or bad. Thanks :-\

I can't help with the Elleste but I would suggest that if 1 mg is not dealing with your symptoms, and it suits you generally, then 2 mg might be the way to go. You may well experience some side effects initially though but I would have thought they would have settled by two weeks. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Thanks for your reply. I think I'm going to hang on for a few days. Even though the sweats are back at night they're nothing like they were and I haven't had one since waking this morning. I do feel really well on this hrt and don't want to upset anything by upping the dose if it's not absolutely necessary. Then if they come back with a vengeance I'll def. go up to 2mg :thankyou:
