For the ladies that like champagne stains bury shave a deal on. Its a £22 bottle of plonk, reduced to £13. As a new customer which I am you get another discount, then if you go to moneysavingexpert and use their discount voucher you get another 15% off. Key to it is, buy 6 x bottles, add another £1.50 to your shopping basket (I got Pringles) and you end up with 6 x bottles of champers for £48 (ish)
So one for my birthday, one for my mates birthday, one for Xmas and one for new year two in case of emergencies

:drunk: Cheers! (Is it good stuff?)

As long as I like it, its good stuff. I really don't have a wine sort of pallet really lol

That sounds good Babypink - will check It out. My daughter was 30 on Friday and I bought her an expensive ish bottle of champers. It came in a Russion Doll holder - looked lovely and obviously you can keep the doll to hold other bottles in. But the champagne was awful. Far too dry for my palette - I know champagne is dry but this was horrible! We put some Kir in it and made Kir Royale - much nicer.

::) ……… of course, the best champers remains in France ;)

Actually you can find some really good stuff on every supermarket shelf these days. In fact when I think about it there is a huge range.
Cheap or really expensive it still kills my head. Trouble is I never remember until the headache strikes after a few glasses. By that time it's too late ;D

 …….. Babycham used to make me queasy - not at the time so it was a long time before the association was made between the drink and the awful nausea I would suffer in the early hours ……… I don't have a 'burper' so any gas remained in the gut = nausea :'( ………..
It's the bubbles that cause the light headedness ;)

Think it's too many glasses to be honest.
:drunklaf:
Tend to steer clear these days.

Your poison of choice would be ……….. chocolate milk shake with ice-cream and marshmallows ;D

Hmmm
Strawberries and well champagne of course.
I wish.
Nice cup of tea these days. Had a glass or two with dinner today as my son made a rare visit home. Needing matchsticks for my eyes now ::). Turned into a real light weight.

I can't understand the flavour of champagne either, to me it doesn't have any ::) ……….. there was a woman on a programme last week who went to a Bar to celebrate getting a loan - she bought champagne …….. ::)
-
I prefer a good, dry white wine to champagne any day. I do try to enjoy it though but even the expensive ones taste really yucky to me.

Try fizzy Rose and Elderflower, it tastes divine ( like nectar from the gods :) ) and doesn't give you a headache

I do prefer Cava or Prosecco which is lovely, Morrisons did a offer about four months ago on a Rose it was lovely, bit of fizzy but tasted creamy
