Hello. Ive been on Femoston 1/10 for almost a year
I had monthly bleeds in between the 2 sets of tabs for the first 3 months & havent since. Should I be changing to another HRT _ in particular one which you dont have monthly bleeds with?
Thanks x

Does this HRT suit you otherwise? It isn't normal to change to a continuous combined HRT until you are aged 54, if you went onto cyclical HRT before that. It just means that you are not building up enough lining to shed each month. Personally I would stay with a cycle of sorts - because I prefer not to take progesterone all the time - but when you reach 54 - you might prefer this option ( ie continuous!)

I have gone through menopause, but at. 60yrs I have a vaginal hysterectomy for prolapse of bladder & bowel. Previously I was on Evorel Conti which estradol & norethisterone! I don't know whether I should restart this!

Hi Keane
:welcomemm:
If you have had a hysterectomy then you don't need the progestogen any longer so if you would like to re-start HRT, then I suggest you ask the doc for some oestrogen only patches.
If you have only recently had the hysterectomy, and retained your cervix, sometimes a progestogen is given to checky there is no uterus tissue. If there is no bleed then OK to continue without progestogen.
Depending how long ago you had your hysterectomy, and whether you were taking HRT immediately before that, there may be some resistance to resuming HRT, but if you feel you would benefit and are having menopausal symptoms still, then I would ask your doc or gynae!
