Title: The Menopause Hokey Cokey
Post by: coolatlast on May 06, 2014, 07:49:42 PM
Put your left leg in,
Your left leg out,
In,
Out,
In,
Out,

x 100 times a night  -(constantly sticking them out from under the duvet to try and cool down! ;D)

(who's done this?)

My partner treated us both to a Dyson tower fan. It has a remote control and three settings.  ;) I also found that wearing a T shirt was oddly better than wearing nothing. When I threw off the duvet I would cool down very quickly fall asleep and then be cold and wake up again. Also if I got really sweaty the T shirt could be removed and replaced. Have you tried sage tea bags at night before bed? U can also buy it in a tablet form, not cheap but has helped me alot.

This thread is so funny!
My husband feels the cold in his bed so at his side he has a folded blanket under the duvet and wears pyjamas and my side is just the duvet or sheet depending on hot I am. I can just imagine us hot ladies and freezing cold husbands/partners!

We have a 1 tog duvet from M&S. It's really good on summer nights.
Now wonder I'm blimmin hot all the time - My duvet is a 10.5, which is classed as medium heat, I think.

1 tog sounds DIVINE!   I feel cool just thinking about it  ::)

I can just imagine buying the lowest tog ever, from a shop - and the shop assistants thinking to themselves:
''We know why your'e buying it! ''    ;D
