Title: Hay Fever
Post by: littleminnie on May 04, 2014, 08:17:01 AM
Does anyone suffer with hay fever (grass pollen).  Mine seems to have started very early year.

My son has it and is on his anti histamines already. Horrible thing, I am more affected by tree pollen but as I have got older it does not bother me so much.

Spring sprung earlier this year. I've heard many sneezes of late from poor folk who are suffering, hubby included.

Hi

I didnt get hay fever symptoms until i was peri - meno as of yet not started.

Tried loads of things so i didnt have to take anti histamines (interferred with wine intake lol)

Accupuncture worked quite well but since the needles are in your face its maybe not for everyone.

Has anyone else tried it?

I agree with Cubagirl, that spring is early this year.  My Son is also on his anti-histamies and his nose spray but still sneezing.

Eat local honey  :-\ ………… I did this a few years ago and my rhinitis cleared up for the WHOLE Summer  ;)

Just finished saying to DH that I've not had any tree pollen symptoms this year. I've been sensitive to tree pollen for 36 years, but this year, nothing  :)

Willow pollen is out at the moment, plus the fruit blossoms ………. I ought to have started eating local honey about November  ::) 1 tsp 3 x day usually works for me …………. but I forgot!
