:(Hi, had a phone call thismorning from doctor, for some results from a swab I had done down below, as I felt wet a lot, no thrush or nothing abnormal, but she said I still have some activity going on :o I am not on HRT, and am 100% menopausel from my blood tests, has anyone got the same thing, :-X

Hi sue - blood tests are very unreliable for diagnosing menopausal status. This result just means that your ovaries are continuing to function - even if only a little. You have had a hyster so have no way of knowing, apart from blood tests, where you are in meno. I would go by what your body is telling you. The longer you can hang on to "some activity" the better I reckon!!

Not sure what is meant by 'activity'
I had swabs a couple of times for wet discharge, but nothing was ever found and vagifem cured it. :)

I have this too :( What does "activity" mean?

It means what Taz says, the ovaries do still function
"After menopause, ovaries continue to produce significant amounts of the androgens testosterone and androstenedione, which are converted to estrone peripherally by skin, muscle, and fat cells. 23,24 The levels of these hormones remain consistent and have been documented to age 80"
