I just felt i needed to get this off my chest. :-\
I still get regular periods, they are like clockwork every time but they are different and the symptoms leading up to them are certainly getting worse.
Anyway, i have just had 4 nights complete sleep, right through the night apart from a loo break (i know!!! it feels amazing), and i just felt calmer and to be honest, so much more like myself again. I get very tired but that's about it.
Then BANG....it started to finish yesterday and maybe it sounds weird but i could feel the horrible, moody tetchy woman creeping back in again. Today, periods over and i am annoyed by everything, i have got moody with my husband more than once and i feel like rubbish.
I just can't believe how i turn so quickly and i hate it.
So anyone else out there like me??? Today i really hate hormones!!! >:(

It's not PMT because that stops when the bleed begins. But you are certainly hormonal! how is your diet?

It maybe that your estrogen is slower to start up after your period.
Its the start of the hormonal upheaval, I have read that a low dose estrogen patch for the first half of the cycle can help with this, as to whether you would be able to get more enlightened GP to agree to prescribe this, I can't say.

Are you due a 'well woman' check with your Nurse? Have a chat with her to see how the Surgery prescribes during menopause ?
