Title: Query regarding a little show pls
Post by: Dandelion on April 11, 2014, 10:57:17 AM
Hello ladies :)

I hope you are all well.
I am on day 26 of my femoston, the second phase.

I noticed a little show of blood on my panty liner, don't know if its the start of my period coming early or just spotting.

If it's an early period or if it's just spotting, I am assuming this is ok and to just carry on with hrt as normal, but I thought I would post and check.

Thanks

What does it say on the packet?  You could ring a pharmacist for advice?

when are you supposed to bleed? day 28?
I wouldn't worry at all if that's the case.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I normally bleed the thursday after I stop taking the dydrogesterone, so, my bleed is 6 days early. Its a very light bleed.

I looked in my box and I have forgotten to take yesterday's pill.

Should i just carry on as normal taking the pills?

Thanks

Ah...well that is why you are spotting. Just carry on as normal, but you will spot if you forget, let me just forget one day of my gel and then I get a full on bleed, drives me nuts! The Doc said that my body is very sensitive to the oestrogen dips and thus the bleed..

Hi :)

Is it ok to just dis-regard the bleed and carry on?

Thanks

As I said, the bleed is probably due to you missing a tablet, this is common if you forget a dose, but if you are unsure, chat to your Dr or Pharmacist.

Dandelion, I often started on and off bleeding from about day 24 when I was on Femston. I did quite a lot of googling it seems a normal thing for some women on Femston. As it was the end of packet I did not worry. All fine it stopped when I started the Oestrogel/Utragestan so must be just a Femston quirk.
