Hiya
I have been using the patch for a few months now and today I have noticed that I am spotting a tiny amount.
I haven't had a period for almost a year so wondered whether I should get this checked out or does anyone else suffer with spotting while using the conti patch.
Thanks so much for your help.

Spotting is normal in the first few months of using conti HRT and this product is designed as a no-bleed HRT anyway for post-menopausal women so you shouldn't have a period as such. Also it depends where in meno you were when you started ie how far post-menopausal (how long since last period before starting?). If less than a year then you might not be fully post-menopausal and your own cycle could break through.
If this is the case (ie you went onto the Femseven conti when you had not gone 12 months without a period) then it shouldn't need checking out but you could always ring the doc if you are worried.

Thanks Hurdity
I went without a period for 12 months the the hot flushes and palps started so my GP put me on the Conti patches.
I wouldn't call it a period I am having at the moment as it is just a tiny bit of spotting. about the size of a small finger nail all day.
I'll have a chat with my GP just in case.
Thanks again for your help.
