Title: Can i use Vagifem on its own?
Post by: twinkle1066 on March 07, 2014, 01:35:37 PM
Hi all, I have added this question to the end of my other post but thought I would do a new one too !

Can I use Vagifem on its own. Gyna prescribed me Elleste Duo 1 mg but when I got to the green tablets i felt sick, abdo pain etc. Decided to stop taking and felt much better for it. Only thing is lady bits are now sore and night sweats have returned ! no winning ! Can I use the Vagifem on its own for the time being, without anything else. Sorry if its a stupid question I am reasonably new to all this. :-*

Yes you definitely can with no problem. It won't help your flushes unfortunately but will help with dryness and prevent VA.

There is always the option of using a different type of HRT. Patches are very good if the pills cause digestive problems.

There are no stupid questions at all. You ask what you want. There is always someone around to help.
