Title: and another newbie!!
Post by: charlieangel159 on February 19, 2014, 10:20:48 PM
Hi, i am 35 and going through a surgicaly induced menopause. I had a hysterctomy in 2008, right ovary and large pseudocyst removed in 2012 and left ovary and cyst removed in dec 2013. Along with other unrelated health problems over the years i well and truly feel like i have now fallen apart!! I have just started on elleste solo 1mg tablets as the other hrt i was taking wasnt helping enough, and it made me bloated! I am struggling with lots at the moment and feel much older then i am and still recovering from surgery! Any help/advice/experience is appreciated!  x

Hi there. Oh I sympathise. I had hysterectomy in mid 30s, ovaries removed 10 years later. Hysterectomy revealed cysts & fibroids.

I was given Premarin originally, then Oestrogel & now on patches. I've been on HRT for a long time now.

It takes a while to recover from surgery, but if you've got other things going on which are stressful, it will surely make you feel awful. Not sure what to suggest, but keep posting as there's bound to be someone with a helpful suggestion.

I was given premarin to start with but it seemed to have little effect and i felt bloated. Only been on elleste solo 1mg for a few days. I feel so awful. Keep crying and just cant cope with anything. Its effecting my work. I have only been back for 4 weeks after having 5 weeks off from oophrectomy. I dont no if to have a couple of weeks off or just get on with it?!
