Title: Recommended Book
Post by: Stellajane on February 19, 2014, 07:21:59 AM
I must recommend "Screaming to be Heard: Hormonal Connections women Suspect and Doctors Still Ignore" by ELizabeth Lee Vliet.

I bought this quite a while ago and only dipped in at the time. In the past week I've been reading it from the beginning and its absolutely fascinating - I find myself constantly agreeing with her.

Its a very large book! and as she's an American some of the medications she mentions have different names (but its easy enough to find out what they are).

It makes you realise how many of the problems women encounter with their health down the years are all due to these flippin hormones.

Hi Stellajane - I've heard good things about this book. It is listed under "Books" at the top of the page.

Yes I bought this a while back second hand on Amazon - very cheaply - but haven't managed to read it all yet! Well I started it - but what I read is very good!
