I'm losing it! Bought a nice " wear your own bra slip " few weeks ago. Do you think I can find it? Nope! Emptied cupboards, drawers, you name it. Zilch. I need it in just over a weeks time too. Think I might cry. I've mislaid stuff before, but usually find again. But not this time.

In the washing machine?
-
Checked there, wash basket, ironing pile. I'm worried I've thrown it out by mistake, though I doubt it. It'll be there somewhere, hopefully.

Bottom of the wardrobe, still in its bag?

Found it in daftest place! Meno brain must have been in full swing that day. ;D It was under a waterproof jacket of all places. I must have had jacket on that day & hung the two together. It's now hanging on hanger with dress I'm wearing it with.
Must remember to engage brain in future. ;)

I have days like that >:( even if I write an ore about what I do in the ay as I go along, I forget to read it or where I've put it ::)

Ahhh Cubagirl, so pleased you found it in time.
I've been searching for some very important paperwork that I was sure was in my house...found it today at daughter's place. Sigh....

I rarely use a cheque book these days and had safely put it away. In fact is was so safely put away it took me a hour to find it. Sometimes if I just sit for five minutes where I have put things seems to come back. The more I stress the longer it takes.
Is ball time approaching CG. What's the dress like this time and have you decided if you are going early or not.

Yes HB ball time again. I am wearing dress from first ball. French navy. Quite simple really, matt & semi-shiney satin. Got navy heels & electric blue/navy clutch & wrap. It is starting early this year. Meal is at 6.30 apparently, though I do doubt that. Hubby has told them we won't be there before 6pm. I gather a few others have said the same as it is crazy time. Normally meal is 7.30. Son will pick us up about 5.30ish. Not planning on being there any later than about 11. I dislike these events, but must put up with it as it's an honour to be invited I believe. Only a very few get invites. Students pay small fortune for tickets, then spend heaps on gowns/kilt hire etc. Hubby bought a £50 dinner suit from m&s 3 years ago. Paid for itself already. Well cheaper than £80+ on kilt hire annually.

HB = hair ball :D
HB = hunt ball ………..
Whatever. Enjoy!

Ha, ha CLKD.
Law ball actually. It's a bit posh. Some of Hubby's colleagues are way too intellectual for me. Depends which table we're at.
-
Oh what fun! I love listening to so-called intellectuals - bet they talk shop all evening ;D
-
I switch off! The females are fine but oh boy the men. Some of the students are fine too. The stories hubby tells me about some of his colleagues..........

Go on! Do tell ……….. <all ears>
