I have had my dose Elleste sols increased from 1mg to 2mg on Monday the last two nights I have had terrible cramps in my legs which has kept me awake then when I did go back to sleep I woke with a bad sweat and racing heart.Do you think maybe I should take a tablet every other day for a while cant face the doctors again !

I wouldn't do that without talking to your DR. first. That could cause some other problems. You were given HRT for a reason right? I was also having terrible cramps in my legs also. I started taking magnesium and I almost never get them anymore!
Hope they get better soon!

Thanks Karen I have some here do they work soon though, I don't think I can stand it again tonight .

Unfortunately they took a few days to work for me. Hope they are faster for you though! I know they are extremely painful! :( If you get them tonight try immediately standing up and press on the the painful spot as hard as you can. it seems to give me a little relief.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Yes, it is scary and extremely painful! Thankfully not life threatening though! Here is a link with more info on preventing the cramps.

To be honest I have never noticed any side effects when starting HRT. But I was very naive when I first started and apart for a while on tiboline (spelling!) I have only been on three types. Lucky or non observant, not sue which but I was alway busy busy so did not pay close attention. Guess I have been lucky :).

I had exactly the Same thing. Took magnesium and only lasted a few days. Carry on if you can
