Which do you think is easier?
I'd go for puberty every time, even with the painful periods.
-
Well, to be honest I can't really remember that much about puberty. I do remember getting a lot of cramping when I was younger, but that seemed to subside as years went on, especially after going on to the BC pill.
Weighing that up against all the phaffing around needed with menopause, and HRT, and insomnia, and hot flushes etc, I would definitely have a preference for puberty.
Oh wouldn't it be lovely to have the estro levels on a teenager again, even if we had to go through all the teenage drama queen phase again...lol....

Hi
Defo would choose Puberty for me...this Peri menopause takes so much of my strength and efforts x

oh good question
My periods began the Summer before I turned 12. 16 August. Whilst we were away :o
I had painful periods from the 2nd year, heavy clots, nausea; missed a lot of College and had to plan my events around the calendar. Then I had PMT but fortunately, no real problems at this end of the journey. So for me, once peri-menopause was over and the low blood sugar taken care of ........ it has to be now. (In fact sometimes I wonder if I really belong here :-X when I read of your problems!)

Meno - I used to be terrified of getting pregnant, that is not going to happen now. ::)
Puberty wasn't good, bad cramps and acne. Also, worrying about anything at all, especially the pregnancy thing.
Feel much more settled now.

Well I don't miss monthly periods as they were a real pain. I remember being all excited to tell my Mum my periods had started but instead of saying something encouraging she looked sad and said "Oh No now you have that curse for years to come. ". I felt quite deflated and I didn't really know what she meant but it didn't take long to find out !
Remember those awful sanitary belts and towels we had when we were teens? So uncomfortable.
Painful periods were indeed a curse and I'm not sorry to see the back of them but I would still say puberty was easier. At least you knew what to expect and how to deal with it.

My first period, my aunt was sent to Boots for towels & the horrid belt. Terrible things. My friends mums had bought them special pants with a little feed through clip. My mum eventually bought them for me after much protesting on my part. Then came the stick on ones. If only Always had been on the go back then. ::)

Definitely puberty. Periods were a bit of a pain and started at age eleven but all the excitement of growing into a young woman and things yet to come plus the sexual awakening too. Give me puberty every time. Much better than this "end of everything" feeling I have now - a bit like a dried up non-sexual husk of a person!!

Purberty...without a doubt! How lovely to feel desirable and desired and to have a libido again :)

Libido what's that? ;D

My menopause saturated brain just cannot recall... ;D

Really can't remember CG ;D
Puberty for me too. I have decided that youth is wasted on the young.

Its just got to be puberty. But does that mean I can start my life all over again? now that would be interesting. ;)
-
Puberty without a doubt! I would give anything to deal with that again instead of what I've been going through!
-
Oh I know what you mean, I really am turning into my mum!

I think girls together at puberty had more support ……….
