Title: Newbie thankfully through the menopause but taking hrt for VA
Post by: Hallw on January 29, 2014, 02:12:20 PM
Hi
I stumbled on this site while googling vagifem and decided to join.
10 years of hot flushes behind me but finding my gp not well informed about treating after effects.
 Hoping to learn from others.

Hello, rushing out to do school run but you'll find lots of help here. VA a complete pain in the XXXX -- lots of people here do very well on vagifem.

Hi Hallw

 :welcomemm: from me too!

Are you still having hot flushes or are you feeling generally good apart from the VA?

Good luck with the Vagifem anyway and do share your experiences!

Sadly there are some GPs who are not well informed at all about menopause, to the point of giving the wrong product or letting their opinion (on HRT) get in the way of a woman's right to any treatment she chooses to improve her health and well-being!
