Title: hrt low dose gel

hi a friend of mine as started on a low dose of gel and she says how much better she feels she says her hot flushes are gone as anyone else tried the gel and as it made you feel better

A lot of women use the gel with great success. You can only use it on its own if you have had a hysterectomy other wise you have to use it with progesterone.

Gel is fab - I've used it through peri and post meno.  Trans-dermal route is really good because stuff doesn't go through the liver - you get less side effects. Ability to adjust the dosage is also great.  You can start with as little as one pump per day for the first few weeks and then slowly increase if need be. Use either Utrogestan for the progesterone part or have a Mirena fitted.
