I had really begun to think that these were stopping. 7 months is my longest gap as before that it had been 4 or 5 months but today I was so surprised when one started. Suspect that it will be very light as all mine have been for the past approx 3-4 years but still surprised.

It's such a nuisance when you have to start counting again - I sympathise. I had nine months without and then had to go back to the beginning again. Maybe this will be your last!

I had one that was possibly 18 months after what I thought was my last.
At the time I was ( and am) on HRT but what made me think it was a period was I had some typical PMS symptoms- spots, bad moods and so on. My gynae thought it was either a slight, unexplained breakthrough bleed ( investigated later) or a period.

Maybe. This one last about 3 days which is longer than I had had for some time. Just wish I knew which was the last...
