Title: Micronor - Mini Pill

Firstly apologies if theres a thread and Ive missed it but Ive been given this today by my gp to sort out my irratic and often very long periods.

Anyone have any experience of it?

Hi msoctober63 & Welcome
I think we need a little more info about you for us to be able to comment on your questions.  You've been given the mini pill not HRT - what age are you?  Are your periods erratic because you are peri menopausal?  Are you getting any other menopausal symptoms?
Micronor is a contraceptive pill with the progesterone Norethisterone.  I don't know if or why it should be prescribed for erratic periods if you are peri-menopausal!!!!!  It may have the effect of stopping or reducing your periods but most of us on this site will be in peri or post meno and will be using HRT.
I have to say, that if you are peri meno then Micronor would be a strange thing to prescribe - I would have thought a Mirena coil with a bit of oestrogen would have been more appropriate!
Do give us some more details so we can advice accordingly.
